We have a special manufacturing facility that allows us to create bespoke solutions and can adapt any of our standard castors to custom design – exactly what you want and need for your industry, whether small, medium or large.

The push-in peg is ideal for use on wooden or tubular framed applications. They are quick and simple to assemble with an appropriate plastic fitting, which are designed to suit a range of square and round tube applications.

If you want to avoid the use of separate fittings, we can provide socket details so that the castor can be moulded as an integral part of the end product. Expander fittings can be also used in round or square tube applications. While they are easy to fit, they can work loose after prolonged use.

The single thread / single bolt hole model requires only a single nut and bolt. Where an application has feet attached to threaded stems, a choice of bolt diameter enables castors to be fitted as direct replacements. Threaded stems are an integral part of the castor, and are available in three standard metric thread lengths. However, they can be manufactured on special order in other lengths and thread types.

Locking nuts are recommended, but a single bolt castor is more likely to come loose than a four bolt fixing plate which is the most secure method of fixing a castor, using four matching holes with nuts and bolts. If plate fixing involves welding a mating plate to the application, we can supply separate mating plates.

Our wheels and castors are constructed of materials including stainless steel, nylon, polyurethane, and heavy duty 50mm rubber or 75mm, 100mm or 200mm heavy duty versions. We also have steel castors and braked castors. Whether the use is for office furniture or for heavy duty trolley wheels, we can supply them.

Wheel sizes vary according to the overall wheel diameter. The diameter needed is determined by load capacity, overall castor height, and ease of movement. The larger the wheel, the easier the movement and the higher the load capacity.

Heavy duty rubber, polypropylene, nylon, or elastic hard or soft tyres, fixed or swivel, the choice is up to you. The harder the wheel tyre, the easier the movement. Soft tyres are harder to move but have better traction and are kinder to floors. Our tyres are available with non-standard bores and in specific colours.
